We had a 5+ hour direct flight from SEA to Orlando. Everything basically went smoothly except for the EPIC Quinn meltdown during the last 1/2 hr of the flight. Poor kid, he didn’t sleep much and it caught up with him.

We stayed at the Disney Beach Club Villas.

Eventually we broke down, bought a few rain ponchos and made the best of it. Penn was a tough guy and went on the “Dinosaur” ride with Mom, telling me afterward that it was “a little scary” and that “Quinn shouldn’t go on it”. The Kali River Rapid ride was a big hit. We did the Fast Pass and waited less than 10 minutes, excellent!

The Boneyard which was basically a glorified McDonalds Playland, was a hit as well.

Hung out at the pool today and the boys (4 1/2yrs now) loved it. It’s definitely not a full blown water park like Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach but for us it was awesome. There’s a fairly good sized water slide that Penn went on about 763 times in a row (no rides for Quinn of course) and a shallow, sand bottomed pool with a man-made sandbar that seems to keep the little ones entertained throughly. Also a small-ish lazy river.

We began the day at the Magic Kingdom park. Great weather and not particularly busy. Tom Sawyer island was hit as was Buzz Lightyear and surprisingly the People Mover.

Later in the day we had smores and a outdoor movie showing of Little Mermaid.

We left Disneyworld at noon-ish and headed south for Jupiter. Easy drive.
